The official kickoff of the holiday season begins with the Mayor's Tree Lighting in Penn Square. Come enjoy the holiday sounds of the Wesley Handbell Choir from the First United Methodist Church (Lancaster) and the ever famous Tuba Christmas group. Watch for Santa's arrival during the festivities and visit with him afterwards in Binns Park.
6:30 PM: Wesley Handbell Choir performance
7:00 PM: Tuba Christmas performance (set 1) & arrival of Santa Claus
7:15 PM: Mayor's Tree Lighting
7:30 PM: Tuba Christmas (set 2)
7:30 PM - 9:00 PM - Visits and photos with Santa at Binns Park
7:30 PM - 10:00 PM - Carriage Rides at Penn Square. $5 per person.
