Since 1981, the annual Black Maria FIlm and Video Festival has been an international juried competition and award tour. Named after the world's first motion picture studio built by Thomas Edison in 1893, the festivals mission is to advocate, exhibit and reward cutting edge works from independent film and video makers.
This event is free and open to the public.
